Recap of 2011

One of my new year resolutions was to post on our family blog on a more frequent basis.
Looking at the date, I haven't got off to a great start.......But, life comes first, thus the blog has been set aside.
We had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends.
The last few months of the 2011, our family had lots of activities.
I've chosen some photos from a vast assortment to share.
Hopefully, the blog will be more lively with posts, but I can't guarantee anything. (Remember.....life comes first!)
Enjoy the photos!

Susanna turned 5!

Worldview Weekend Evening Rally in Wichita.

Game Night at the Finch House!

We had a great all-American dinner before all the games.
Hamburgers, chips, baked beans, and onion rings which Eric and Michael prepared.

In October, we had a fantastic weekend with friends in celebration of the Swedish Hyllningsfest.
(Mostly an excuse for us to get together!)

Friday night a group of us went to the 2nd half of the Smoky Valley football game.

The big kids played football most of Saturday afternoon (in the rain!), but the little ones played Saturday morning before the parade.

Quadricycles (a local attraction)

Elizabeth and Felicity

Pyramid time!

Though, not for long....wet bodies make for a slippery foundation!

We had received a fire pit for a gift, and it was a treat on the windless (SMILE!) Kansas evenings.
We even brought out the marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate for S'mores!

In October, we had a family game night with Mom's extended family.
We played a Minute to Win It Game.
Lots of fun, food, and fellowship!

Susanna and Paige

Holiday baking isn't complete without an evening of Peppernut making!

Susanna and Paige with their new hats!

All the girls received hats for Christmas!

Stucky Family Christmas

For New Years, we had the Kroeker Family over.
For our big meal, we had a German theme.
Vereneka, Cherry Mos, New Year's cookies, Chicken borscht, Fried Apples,
Here are the olders making Vereneka (Noodles filled with a cottage cheese mix)

Yum!

I had saved a Sky lantern from working fireworks this summer.
So we launched the New year, with the launching of a cool sky lantern.
